Benjamin Ray Montague was born in Fontana, California. His parents are Eric and Armida Montague. Benjamin is the third of four children. Wendell and Joseph, both who are Eagle Scouts, are his older brothers and Richard is his younger brother. Benjamin possesses a very tender heart and is passionate in everything he does. He has been blessed with many special gifts. Among these gifts is a love for his family. Ben is very friendly and has a great love for music. He played the flute at Rancho Cucamonga Middle School for three years, and then participated in the Marching Band at Chaffey High School for four years. In addition to being involved with the band, Ben has spent the past four years as a member of Ballet Folklórico Tenochtitlán, a club directed by his father at Chaffey High School. He has served as club president for the past two years. Ben has worked very hard and has become an adept dancer. He also loves teaching dances to other group members. This is especially pleasing to his parents, as he has developed a great love for his Mexican heritage. Ben is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loves attending seminary each morning before school and is not afraid to stand up for what he knows to be true. He is a true friend and a quick learner. Ben loves being involved in scouting. Since he entered cub scouts, Ben has enjoyed participating in many activities associated with the scouting program. He has developed a great love for camping and looks forward to opportunities to spend time in the outdoors. Ben has acquired many skills as a scout that will benefit him throughout his life. Ben is extremely happy to be an Eagle Scout. As Benjamin’s parents, family and friends, we are so very pleased with him and the successes he has achieved. Congratulations!!!
