Rancho Cucamonga Stake Relief Society is spearheading a service project that they hope all who are able will assist in their efforts.
We want to help create hope and comfort foster children in our area who need to know someone cares. When children are moved into a foster home they often have very little. We want to give them a beautiful place to rest their head that they can call their own. Our goal is to make and donate 1,000 pillowcases by October General Conference.
We are joining the American Patchwork & Quilting 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge – and they need our help to reach their goal of providing 1,000,000 pillowcases to people who need to know someone cares. The need is great. Our compassion as sisters and mothers is greater.
Pillowcases are a quick and easy project (and a great way to use up your stash). Even if you’ve never sewn before, you can make a pillowcase.
Join us in making pillowcases to donate to Hannah’s Children’s Homes (Adoption and Resource Family Services) and Ark Homes (Foster Family Agency).

Hannah’s Children’s Homes (Adoption and Resource Family Services)
Hannah’s is a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization serving abused and neglected children since 1989. We began with a group home for 6 abused teenagers and later grew and added a Foster Care division in 1990 and an Adoption Agency in 1994. Like Hannah noted in the bible’s book of Samuel our company feels children are a blessing from God. Hannah’s strives to find amazing families that have the room in their heart and home to make a child feel special and loved.

Ark Homes (Foster Family Agency).
Founded in 2003 we provide stable, loving homes for children and teens from infancy to 18 years of age who are unable to live with their biological families. Our goal is to effectively match the needs of each child in our care with appropriate placement in as natural a home environment as possible.
