Marcus Richard Raddon is 18 years old, born July 25, 2001 in Glendale, California. Rancho Cucamonga has been his home most of his life. He has two sisters, one older and one younger. Marcus is a recent graduate of Alta Loma High School. There he was a dedicated student involved in many activities including the cross country and track teams, as well as playing the electric guitar for the Jazz Band. He also had his own rock band The Sig Figs in which he was the lead vocalist and guitarist. The name of his band refers to significant figures in Chemistry, which was his very favorite subject. He was the Director of Education for the Alta Loma Automotive Engineering Club. He was a member of the Braves Racing team, a STEM go-cart team participating in a regional challenge to design, build, and race their cart against other high school teams. They won first place.
He loves everything about cars. He is very gifted mechanically. He bought a 1969 Chevy truck which needs a lot of work. Little by little he is restoring it, learning as he goes. After graduation he moved to Arizona to attend college and to live near his uncles and cousin who are helping him with his truck.
Marcus loves the outdoors. He enjoys hiking, camping, mountain biking, and exploring plant and animal life all around him. He has a natural connection with animals (except maybe his sister’s rabbit who likes to bite him).
Marcus is currently working and saving for his mission. After his mission he plans to study Aerospace Engineering. His dream job is to be a race car driver.
