Lily is a leader and showed this quality since she was a little girl always organizing her friends and leading them in an activity. She was a leader in high school—she was the captain of her throwing team in track and she was the track ambassador to the administration at Rancho Cucamonga high school. She loved competing on the field and adored her coaches and her teammates. Lily was given the MVP award In track her junior year.
Lily was a hard-working conscientious student who always did her best. She developed her artistic talents in her senior year of high school. She became very good at sketching and painting and this talent helped her fight through some very challenging physical ailments that year. She sketched some beautiful pictures of the Savior as she reflected on his gift of the atonement. That year was the hardest of her life, but she came through stronger, more compassionate and loving because of it. She is serving valiantly in the Alabama Birmingham mission and finds great joy in her service.
