Sister Lisantalie Fifita

Sister Fifita loves this scripture

2 Nephi 28:30 is my favorite scripture as of right now.

"30 For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough, from them shall be taken away even that which they have."

It just really shows that Heavenly Father teaches us step by step. It's like a ladder, in order to make it to the top you must go step by step.

Service opportunities here in Hawaii are pretty awesome. Pretty "LOCAL" LOL. As an example for Thanksgiving we helped make an Imu, which is basically an underground oven that is covered by banana stumps and Banana leaves. So what we did was dig a huge hole and filled it up with 110 turkeys to cook over night for members in our ward and people in our community. We do many service opportunities such as yard and nature cleaning lol. And also gutting animals and roasting pigs. We also get to go to pearl harbor and clean the battleships once a month. So that's always awesome! I'll be sure to include some pictures.

One thing I love about my mission is being able to be a part of people's conversion. It is truly a blessing to be able to be a part of something so special. There is no better feeling than seeing someone find out for them self if the message we have to share is true or not. I love my mission. As of yesterday I have 100 days left on my mission, and I am going to miss it SO MUCH!!!

I hope all is well in the Rancho Cucamonga Stake. I miss home dearly, but I know it'll still be there when I return home.
