High School attended:

Los Osos High School

Influential Adult in your life and why:

Sister Robbi Wyatt. Sister Wyatt was my Young Women's President and is amazing!! She was always willing to sit down and talk with me and she showed that she loved each of us individually. She was inspiring in word and in deed. She was the example she encouraged us to be and always motivated us to do our best. She has greatly influenced my life and encouraged me to serve a mission. I am forever grateful for her influence.

What is a scripture that you love?

My favorite scripture is Enos 1:26-27 because I hope to become like Enos. To serve God all my life and when that day comes to be able to confidently enter into the kingdom of my father!!

What is your best advise to those who are preparing to serve a mission?

Read the Book of Mormon...It is essential!! Also learn how to receive personal revelation through prayer and study!!

How is the mission different that you thought it would be?

It is way different than I thought it would be!! Missions are hard work and ridiculously rewarding. Through these experiences on my mission, I have grown in my knowledge of the Savior, his purpose, my understanding of God's plan and his commandments, and the joy and fulfillment that comes from sharing the gospel!!

How has the Covid19 affected your mission experience?

Well...it has been interesting. We have had to completely rethink missionary work. But I am so thankful for inspired leaders who get us excited to share the gospel from our apartments! We have actually started teaching people over Skype!! And a lot of hearts are being softened!! We have been able to get in contact with a lot of less active members that otherwise avoid us!! Also old investigators have reconnected with us and over all it has been a blessing to the work although we can get anxious in our houses. But it has been a really great test of our hearts and commitment to the Lord!!
