My favorite thing so far on a mission is seeing the change the gospel brings to people. I've seen the change in myself, in members, non members, less actives. Just seeing how the gospel brings them happiness and how it helps them so much makes me so happy and know I'm doing what I'm suppose to be doing.
For service opportunities we help unload a truck for the bishop store house and we've helped with cows checking to see if they are pregnant.
This scripture (2 Nephi 2:11) always helps me remember that even when I'm on a mission I still have hard times so I can remember the miracles that my Father blesses me with.
2 Nephi 2:11 "For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor in sensibility."
