Influential Adult in your life and why:

Has to be a tie between my mom and my dad

My dad is very good with his words. He has been a big motivator to me.  He has a way of breaking things down to help me see things in a whole different perspective. He also has a way of rebuking me to the point where I can't argue or get mad because I know he's right so it just motivates me to change.

My mom is very intelligent and very, very creative. She has a think outside the box type of mindset. Simple, yet brilliant all at the same time. When life gives her lemons she'll make some high class bomb tasting strawberry lemonade aha. She is an inspiration.

What is a scripture that you love?

Mormon 9:20

And the reason why he ceaseth to do miracles among the children of men is because that they dwindle in unbelief, and depart from the right way, and know not the God in whom they should trust

What is your best advise to those who are preparing to serve a mission?

Figure out how you know that the Book of Mormon is true

The more specific you get the stronger your testimony will be

How is the mission different than you thought it would be?

I thought companions would be the last thing on my list of people to worry about.

How has the Covid19 affected your mission experience?

It forces you to work even more with the members to find more people to teach. So member referrals. And thinking of more creative ways to motivate and encourage the members so that we could all work together in the gathering of Israel while at the same time keeping yourself and your companion motivated because we are stuck inside all day.

We can find people online from other parts of the world or other parts of the country to teach but our area that we are assigned to is our first priority. We are called to our mission to our area for a reason. At least thats what I believe.
