Terra Mosa Girls are BeYOUtiful

Terra Mosa YW in Excellence theme 2018

Terra Mosa was so excited to have three girls receive their YW medallion at their Young Women in Excellence which was held on Wednesday November 28, 2018.

Lindsey Brown, daughter of Glen & Catalina Brown, and Sara Montero, daughter of Luis & Melva Montero from Hermosa Branch as well as Sienna Pederson, daughter of Gray & Summer Pederson, from Terra Vista Ward have all worked hard toward this goal.

Sister Marie Smith, said, “All of the girls worked really hard this year working on Personal Progress.  It was truly an exciting time to see the girls be excited about Personal Progress.” Once a quarter at Sister Smith’s home the YW would meet for Personal Progress Breakfast on a Saturday.

Their theme was BeYOUtiful. The parents were asked in secret to select a flower that best represented their daughter and to write about the girl.  Then, that night the parents presented their daughter with the flower and talked about their daughter.  All the flowers were then placed in a big vase.  Sister Eggett talked about how each flower was beautiful by itself, but all together they were stronger and more beautiful. Sister Tracy Romero, Young Women president, spoke as well as remarks from Bishop Jones and President Talamantes. Sister Marie Smith presented the medallions.

It was held in the Relief Society room, with parents and Bishops of both wards invited.
